◆Acupuncture

The needles used are disposable (disposed of after use), so there is no risk of transmission of infections or illness and we have prepared an environment where customers who receive acupuncture treatment can feel at ease.

Cosmetic acupuncture

Fine needles will be strategically inserted into specific points on your face based on your pre-treatment consultation.
For the face, we use domestically produced disposable (disposed of after use) needles that are as thin as hair (0.1 to 0.2 cm).
Our salon aims to minimize pain and make it easier for those who are receiving acupuncture for the first time. If you are anxious or are not good with pain, please do not hesitate to inform your therapist.

Effects and safety of acupuncture

How acupuncture works

1. Activation of endogenous analgesics

When receiving acupuncture, substances in the body (endorphins, enkephalins, dynorphins, etc.) similar to morphine are secreted. The secreted substances activate the endogenous analgesic mechanism in your body that works to relieve pain.

2. Activation of the descending pain modulatory system

Acupuncture activates the “descending pain modulatory system” that suppresses pain transmission, blocking the transmission of pain information to the brain and relieving pain.

3. Improved blood circulation

Acupuncture generates a signal that dilates blood vessels, widening them and improving blood flow.
The muscles loosen and the blood and toxins that have been stagnant due to stiffness start to ciculate, making your body warm and flexible.
Nutrient-rich blood flows to the places that were previously stiff, and cells are regenerated, causing changes such improvement in skin condition.
